This dramatic tulip always attracts attention. It has large bright scarlet flowers with a black base on short stems making it perfect for pots. The leaves are beautifully striped with purple. Plant the bulbs in late autumn at least 6" deep in well drained soil in full sun. One of the best for pots, dwarf and early flowering. 
=those plants given the Award of Garden Merit by the RHS.
