(species tulip) This is a very vigorous new hybrid with 3-4 terracotta orange petals and yellow-rimmed black eye. It is stunning on a rock garden or will naturalise in thin grass under trees. It is also good planted under small white daffodils in pots. Plant the bulbs in late autumn at least 6" deep in well drained soil in full sun. 
=those plants given the Award of Garden Merit by the RHS.
