This is the correct and almost unpronouncable name, for one of the very best early spring flowering bulbs, coinciding with winter aconites and snowdrops. Very long lasting heads of delicate silvery-blue flowers. They are remarkably long lived bulbs - we have had the same clumps for over 40 years. Slow to increase. Grow under trees in beds or it will grow in thin grass.
