The flowers are larger and really look you in the eye. We have hundreds naturalised in our wild garden.  Scented. Plant the bulbs in the autumn in any good garden soil in sun or part shade. they can be grown in borders or naturalised in grass.

It flowered for nearly 1 month and produced a staggering 124 flowers per 10 bulbs. Up to 5 nodding heads of creamy flowers per stem. The cup is delicately split. Perfect for pots or front of a border.

Award of Garden Merit(Division 5) This delightful small daffodil is one of the best for pots as it produces many stems per bulb and up to 10 flowers per stem.  each stem has several very graceful nodding blooms of sot lemon yellow with paler cup. The petals turn back from the cup. It is easily grown in well-drained soil in sun or part shade but it prefers neutral to acid soil. It grows well with grape huaconths and small tulips in pots. This late flowering daffodil species is almost the last to flower:in early May. It is strongly scented. The snow-white petals are swept back from a tiny yellow cup edged with red. Almost the last to flower. Wonderful with bluebells and pink campion. Can be naturalised under trees but it will be shy to flower if it is too dry.

Award of Garden Merit(Division2)  One of the most useful trumpet daffodils. It is the first to flower, often around chriostmas and long before any other daffodil is hardly through the ground. It is the daafodil that used as an example of 'global warming'!. It is a short flowered standard trumpet daffodil shape of egg-yellow throughout with a rather flared cup that is slightly darker. Often in flower on Christmas Day. Very vigorous, increasing well. can be naturalised in grass.
